It’s 2025 and what a year 2024 was. Here are some of the firsts and mind-blowing things that happened in 2024.

· The top job in Northern Ireland goes to Sinna Fein’s vice president.

· Trump got convicted and reelected in the same year.

· Korean author Han Kang becomes the first Asian woman to win a Nobel Prize in Literature.

· I got cancer.

You heard right, I was diagnosed with a type of cancer called metastatic squamous cell carcinoma that had made its way into the lymph nodes in my neck by the time I discovered the lump.
